What does distance arts learning look like for our Newark partners?

KEYS2SUCCESS

Help Keys2Success continue to bring classical music education to students in Newark.

The organization, led by Jee-Hoon Krska, and powered by a small army of volunteers, has been able to put keyboards and STEAM education in the hands of children thanks to the generosity of their donors. See how they continue to make an impact in the midst of the COVID-19 Stay-at-Home order in the video below.

Desired items include:

  • Keyboards

  • Faber Music Books (primer level)

  • Royal Conservatory Music Development Program Books (Prep A and Prep B levels)

If you wish to donate, contact 908-883-0887 or 732-491-3660 for more information.

JAZZ HOUSE KIDS

Like many of our arts organizations, in-person music instruction is no longer a responsible option. Arts executives, administrators, teaching artists and students have had to leverage the creative flexibility and technology to provide students continued, engaging, quality arts instruction. Jazz House Kids continues to provide online classes, master classes and listening parties. To learn more, check out this article on Montclair Local and visit www.jazzhousekids.org
