Síoċáın Hughes is an artist working with camera, paint, dimensional materials and digital, often exploring themes of site, observer, time and space. She has exhibited internationally at forums including the Musée Carnavalet and the Galerie Lambert in Paris, France, the Kultur Senat Roloff-Momin, the Galerie Am Scheunenviertel and the Amerika Haus Gallery, in Berlin, Germany, the Henry Street Settlement and White Columns in New York City, and several east coast universities. Her work is in the collection of the Musée Carnavalet and numerous private collections. The recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship, she studied at the University of the Arts, Berlin, Germany. Ms. Hughes holds an MFA from Hunter College and a BFA from Parsons School of Design, New York. A college-level arts educator with over 20 years of experience, she has taught a full range of artistic techniques and approaches for the development of visual art and personal growth the student. Her coursework includes digital art, photagraphy.
