*REGISTER* - Trauma-Informed Care and the Arts Virtual Workshop Series

Understanding that the current COVID-19 health crisis is affecting our collective, causing us all to pivot to new teaching and learning strategies, and pulling on our mental reserves, Arts Ed Newark will present 5 opportunities to take part in new *free* virtual sessions, beginning Tuesday, April 28, on the role of and potential for arts education in trauma-informed care during this unique time. If you are an educator, youth development worker, teaching artist or healthcare professional that serves youth in Newark and you would like to know more about: what trauma is, healing centered arts teaching strategies, self-care during this traumatic time, promoting resilience, creating safe virtual spaces, please join for these twice-weekly sessions. Facilitators will present to small cohorts, which we are limiting for space. Available sessions: Tuesdays AND Wednesdays*

May 19 & May 20, 12-2pm

May 26 & May 27, 4-6pm *you must take both sessions in the same week
