Jessica C. Handrik

Jessica Handrik has nearly two decades of of experience designing, implementing, assessing and advocating for the arts in educational and community-based settings. Since October 2016, Jessica has been the Director of Education at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington, VT where see oversees all aspects of the Center’s arts education and community arts programs. Prior to her current position, Jessica developed her career at Lincoln Center Education for twenty-years, most recently serving as the Director of pK-12 and Higher Education programs. Jessica has been a member of the Newark, New Jersey Arts in Education Roundtable Advocacy Committee and serves on the board of the New York City Arts in Education Roundtable. She earned an MA in Liberal Studies from the City University of New York Graduate Center in 2001, upon completion of her thesis titled Policy in the Making: the Role of the Arts in Education.
