Bridging Families

James Peck

James Peck had a career in the computer field before moving to the nonprofit world about 13 years ago. He developed environmental education and science programs for middle school students in Atlantic City, Camden, Newark and Asbury Park before starting work at Bridging Families.

For the last five years James has been producing and directing original children’s musicals in Newark Middle Schools that use large animated characters that the actors control. The plays contain original songs, dialogue, dance and audience participation and are performed for elementary students around Newark to rave reviews. All the plays contain important life lessons.

James has skills in developing scripts, writing songs, directing and building award winning animated characters (large puppets). He is always looking for other organizations to partner with.
