Theater Summer Session 2022
A fun, comprehensive, and enlightening, theatrical educational experience. Our newly redesigned and re-envisioned Theater Arts Education Department is debuting a new format. Our highly accomplished professional teaching artists guide students as they discover, create and grow into well-rounded theater artists. Whatever their age or experience level, students will be sure to get the support needed to succeed.
All students will participate in core classes according to their age, and placement level.
Core classes include; Improvisation, Comedy, and Playreading, as well as the Community(optional) and Showcase times.
Our exciting and diverse class offerings expose students to the foundational pillars of Acting and Musical Theater.
Students registering for Musical theater participate in core classes as well as musical theater dance (MT) choreography & singing.
Students registering for Acting, participate in core classes as well as movement for the actor & vocal production.
Glass Art Summer Camp
Have fun at Glass Art Summer Camp! Registration is now open for several new sessions! Campers will create various glass art projects as they are introduced to the processes of Flameworking, Kilnforming, Mosaics, and Glassblowing.
No prior experience is necessary for any camp. Full and half day options available; lunch not included.
AGE 10-18 years old, all camps, except glassblowing.
Campers must be 12 years old to register for glassblowing camp.

ACCA creates offers Summer Arts, comprised of two arts programs: The Dance Intensive for 13-18yrs, a one week, June 27-July 1, full day, 10am-4pm technique classes including learning choreographed works for the end of the week Showcase.
Summer Arts, for 6-18yrs, is a six week Arts Camp from 8:30am-4pm, M-F, July 5-Aug. 13, 2022 during which, campers will give seven performances. Classes consist of creative writing, community activism, dance music-piano/vocal, theater arts, visual arts. Summer Arts Camp will present the MTI Broadway Jr Lion King as the final product including works in progress, in visual art, piano, and creative writing.

Summer begins here! Join us for six weeks of building community through project-based learning where campers can develop their skills in art and science.
All students are required to wear a mask throughout the day and provide proof of vaccination prior to starting each camp week. Campers will have a one-hour break, which includes lunch and recess.

Starting on July 5th, 2022 through August 12, 2022, Keys 2 Success will provide in-person summer camps. In addition to piano class, there will be art-making. The in-person classes will be held in various locations and times (location and day to be assigned based on your home location).
Keys 2 Success brings quality music education to students in the most underserved areas of Newark. Our free, daily piano lessons are delivered in a group setting in the students' own environment, where teachers and volunteers work to remove barriers and support students as they develop into future leaders.
One week Dance Intensive, age 13-18, June 27-July 1, and six week Summer Arts Camp, age 6-18, July 5-Aug 13. All classes are a full day. Students study community activism, creative writing, dance, music-piano/vocal, theater and visuals arts culmination in a showing of works in progress and the MTI Broadway Jr musical, The Lion King.
